Shepard Academy
People of the Year
2018
Introduction & OverviewG.K. Adams remarked on looking back on the past that: "Sometimes in order to keep moving forward, not only must you take one step at a time, but you must be willing to look back occasionally and evaluate your past, no matter how painful it is. Looking back lets you know whether or not you are headed in the right direction.”
For this activity we will be examining the past year in our efforts to identify who in your opinion is the 2018 Shepard Academy Social Justice Person of the year. We will be modeling our activity on the Time Magazine Person of the Year and the Mount Rushmore monument. You will research, select, and present on the individual (s) who you have deemed most worthy of being named the Shepard Academy Social Justice Person of the Year in each category. |
